Area description
Bansko is situated in the foothills of the beautiful Pirin mountains and the UNESCO protected Pirin National Park. It is rapidly becoming Bulgaria’s most popular skiing resort.
Bansko offers well maintained and extensive runs for all types of skiers and snowboarders. It has benefited from a massive investment in the ski facilities over the past 2 years. With more lifts planned the resort is expected to boast an impressive 100km of pistes within the next 2-3 years. The town has numerous restaurants, bars, shops and other factilities.
An 18 hole golf course is under construction which will further increase the number of tourists visiting to enjoy the many leisure and sporting activities and historical sites during the summer months

Bondis is located on the eastern side of town and is only 5 min walk, across the natural slope of the town, from the existing Gondola lift station.The building was completed in December 2006.
Bondis is an attractive development in the fast-growing resort of Bansko, ideally located 800 metres from the charming and historic town centre. Bondis is in the same area of the town as many of the newer hotels and shares the same street as the Perun and Lion Hotels. the facilities of these hotels are available to Bondis guests for a small fee.
