Updated July 2006: Since we added this form for our visitors to download and fill out to save time at passport control, it seems they have decided to not use it anymore. We will leave the link up just in case they decide to start using it again.
As of the 1st of January 2006, every visitor to Bulgaria has to fill out a registration form. This took us, and others by complete surprise. We were first through the door to immigration and then had to grab the forms fill them in and join the queue......again! Save the form below by right clicking on it, and selecting "save picture as". Open the picture, and then print it off. Remember to set your printer to the A5 paper size setting, as this is the size the form actually is. Then simply fill in all the details (and I mean all, otherwise they will send you away to do it again). One point, the address to enter on the form, is the address you will be staying in Bulgaria, not your home address. eg Hotel Rila Borovets. You will not have to enter street names block numbers etc. All you have to do now is sign it, and hand it with your passport to the immigration official, you should be first in the queue ;-)
