Welcome to the Mountain romance apartments
in the beautifull town of Bansko Bulgaria.
Our apartment is due for completion on the 21st of December
2006, and is completely brand new,and benefits from
all the latest comforts including a sauna, gymnasium
along with your own ski locker. The apartment is just
a five minute level walk tothe gondola station. It has
one bedroom, and a sizeable living area complete with
sofa bed. The apartment can comfortably sleep 4 people.
It has a modern bathroom with all facilities, and compact
kitchen area should you wish to prepare your own food,
along with two balconies. Bansko is the as yet undiscovered
jewel of Bulgarian wintersports. Recently, many millions
have been invested in the infrastructure, making it
a pleasure to holiday here. The new gondola, and many
new chairlifts will speed you to the top of the mountain
in no time, making for an enjoyable time without standing
around in the queues that can plague some alpine resorts.
Bansko is a small town at the base of the pirin mountains,
and as such has every amenity you could require. Locally
there are many restaurants (known as mehanas) as well
as bars and shops, and even a couple of nightclubs.
Bansko enjoys a long winter season, and because of the
recent investment has plenty of snow making and management
tools available to it. This is best in evidence on the
Bansko ski road which runs from the top gondola station,
back down to the bottom station near the grand Kempinsky
hotel.

This ski road is opened early as the
snow cannons which virtually line it, do their stuff.
The pistes of Bansko are long and wide. This allows
for the newcomer to tackle something a little more challenging
than some of the narrower pistes other resorts have.
Bansko also has a complete range of exciting distractions
should you want to try something else, including paragliding,
paintball, skidoo safaris, in fact just about anything
you can think of. Click here for a video clip of paragliding
in Bansko. Prices in Bansko, in fact the whole of
Bulgaria, are very reasonable. Food and drink are especially
cheap when compared to other European ski resorts. Lift
passes and tuition are great value as well. A weeks
lift pass in Bansko is a fraction of the cost of other
alpine resorts. Bansko really is the ideal place for
anyone considering an alternative to the usual winter
holiday destinations.
