How about "captain wobbly hides his helmet"!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.

I personally think the site needs more information adding and posts to encourage members. alot of people we have been speaking to this year say they do not go on here anymore as nothing is ever happening and its boring. They only use it for the webcam page now. Maybe even adding a FB skidvd page not just for those coming out in March every year but for all FB'ers to be able to view etc etc .... FB is the in thing at the moment and many people use it as we all know. The site needs to gain momentum again to survive.

Youre right Wendy, the site does go dead during the closed season, apart from yours and steves biking posts, there are the odd posts but agree very quiet, an FB link would be able to show what we all get up too away from skiing (maybee not such a good idea after all)!!.

Don.
If at first you dont succeed - give up, and go skiing!!!

You've hit the nail on the head Wendy, facebook. People used to chatter on here, now they do it on there.
Content is king, and we do need lots of it, fresh every day. It's awkward for me, as again, we can't make it. I intend to do something with the webcams, as they are a big draw.
I might even let skidvd wither on the vine if it doesn't pick up, and incorporate it in a different site I have had in mind for a year or so. It needs some time and money spending on it, but this year is looking like the best time to float it.

Watch this space......
Look, it's not steep until you need to stop OK?

It would be a shame if it dies Phil after all the work you've put into it. I am not a fan of FB as I don't trust the security on it in the same way as I trust you. Another forum I go onto (nothing to do wth skiing) has a number of members who feel the same way and would never use FB but enjoy privately run forums such as this.

I am not on here much any more as my skiing days are done but do enjoy reading what you are all up to :D
Be good or if you can't, don't get caught!

It's a Pentium 4 2.8Ghz cpu. Cheap as chips.
First time I've ever heard of one going pop.

I have a cunning plan for next season Fraser, but I'll have to phone you about it.
