An idea occured to me, after a friend we met in Kranjska Gora offered to E-mail me her bruises. Skiing and snowboarding is fun, but occasionaly we all take a tumble. The pictures on this page will document some of the non serious injuries we have all had. You know the sort, you stack it big style, end up with half a tonne of snow up your back, and your skis and poles spread over a wide area. We usually get up, dust ourselves off, and have a laugh along with our friends who are already holding onto their sides. The following day reveals things like this:

	Good effort Guy ! I actually saw this happen, and sadly didn't get it on video. Guys snowblades shot from underneath him as he leant back slightly. The thud when he landed square on his butt was quite impressive. Guy earns extra points for having the neck to drop his pants on the slopes to let me photograph it.
	Banknotes "Man Bump" This lttle cut appeared after a rather hard smack against the piste in Val Thorens. There was nothing that I had hit with my head to cut it, so how it happened remains a mystery. It doesn't look much, but this fall actually left me with concussion for a week.
	Tuftyduck flattens her hip flask! Take one hip flask, fill it with you favourite tipple, then have a major wipeout and land on top of it. Quite an impressive effort. Double points for this submission because you'd done your bikini line. Luckily, not a drop was spilt !
